Due to neck instability, back twisting, disks slipping and more than normal exaustion the allotment has been rather neglected for the last few months so I've really no idea what is still flourishing and what is a rather mushy wet pile.
I am hoping I might be able to pop up there soon to take a look...
In the mean time here are some critters I share my garden with...
A friendly or maybe that should be tolerent little frog that likes to hang out in my compost bag...
I have to lift him out of the way when I need some and he seems quite happy to be photographed on my hand... I pick him up with a little bit of compost too...
There are lots of frogs around my garden of various sizes which I support by creating safe hiding places and in return they munch on my slugs and woodlice...
There is a new chap I noticed recently a little white crab spider that had curled up a cosmos petal and was waiting to pounce...
I've not seen one before, have you?
Still waiting to collect my little female Hedgehog and 4 hogletts from the rescue centre...

No, very strange! Think you have a ghost spider there! Hope you are feeling more energetic soon! Ada :)
ReplyDeleteA white spider - no I've never seen one before either.
ReplyDeleteLove that first picture.

Great pics as always Greenorchid.
ReplyDeleteI have seen a white bodied spider but with brown legs - never one like this - may be albino spider as all white?
ReplyDeleteVery sweet ... for a spider.
